Our reconciliation offering works to realize our vision as an anti-racist, pro-reconciliation *church. When the Pharisees confronted Jesus and told him to quiet his disciples, he said, “I tell you, if you were to keep silent the stones would cry out." "Silence is the absence of sound. To speak is to convey a feeling or opinion. This is not the time to be the absence of sound but to convey the injustice of those feeling the weight of racism and oppression. This the time to speak up and convey the truth of God’s love and equality for us all.”

Our gifts to Reconciliation Ministry allow your communities and our congregations to ensure the human dignity of every child, to ensure all have access to Christ’s abundance, to fully flourish in education, and financial stability, and friendships across God’s human diversity. Won’t you join the chorus in shouting out Hosana, Hosana blessed are we who come in the name of the Lord. Thank you for your generosity.

We are a congregation joined in covenant with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada. You are invited to explore our denominational website at this link: http://disciples.org/
As a congregation, we participate in the Outreach and Mission programs of our General Church. Through budgeted funds and through six "special day" offerings each year, we join with other Disciple congregations to support the General and Regional ministries of the church, including our church-related colleges and universities, and ministries of peace, justice, and compassion both globally and at home. Our General Church also offers resources and support for local congregational ministries of worship, discipling. evangelism, and fellowship. Visit http://disciples.org/ and click on the "Missions" tab to explore the many expressions of ministry we support.
The six "Special Day" offerings are in addition to our budgeted outreach to Disciple Mission Fund. These offerings are made up of gifts from individual members, and include the following:
Week of Compassion Offering www.weekofcompassion.org/
(taken in February) is our denomination's participation in a world-wide ministry in times of disaster, such as earthquakes, hurricanes, refugee crises, etc.
Reconciliation Offering reconciliationministry.org/
(taken late September/early October) funds our denominational ministries to inner city concerns and racism.
Christmas Offering disciplesmissionfund.org/special-offerings/christmas-offering/ (taken in December) goes to strengthening the Regional offices throughout the USA and Canada. All monies collected remain in the Region where collected.
Easter Offering disciples.org/general-ministries/, Pentecost Offering (late May/early June) www.hopepmt.org/, and
Thanksgiving offering (November) helmdisciples.org/colleges-and-universities/disciples-colleges-universities/ all help fund the General ministries of the church.
